Sarah will be performing the theme song of yet another television drama, this time for NHK's forthcoming drama “Saka no ue no kumo”. STAND ALONE was composed by Joe Hisaishi and recorded with the NHK Symphony Orchestra.
The soundtrack album will be released in Japan only on Nov 18. It will also be available as bundle-only digital album.
Set in the Meiji Period, “Saka no ue no kumo” revolves around the trials and tribulations of military officers during the during the Russo-Japanese War. The first part of "Saka no Ue no Kumo" will start airing on November 29, 2009, with the remaining segments planned for 2010 and 2011.
SHALL BE DONE
Shall be done to be featured at Winter Olympics' Panasonic 3D Pavilion Sarah will be performing "Shall be Done", Panasonic's official campaign song at a Panasonic reception in Vancouver on Feb 11. This event is open to the media only.
Earlier in the day, Panasonic will be announcing this song and unveiling the 3D video of Sarah performing the song at the launch of the Panasonic Olympic Pavilion at LiveCity Vancouver Yaletown, official celebration site of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
The "Panasonic FULL HD 3D THEATRE" will be open to the public Feb 12-28. "Shall be Done" will be released digitally around the world in a couple of weeks. Stay tuned for more info.
